Small Talk: Couple of spaces left at our free event with BBC Asian Network

British Asians and anything that interests or affects them…. that’s the focus for the BBC’s Asian Network, a UK based, national digital radio station with a listenership of over half a million people. Head of News at Asian Network, Arif Ansari, is the speaker for our next Small Talk, which is taking place over breakfast on Tuesday 21st May. Arif will be talking about how he decides which stories go to air and how BBC Asian Network caters to its audience. Content is a mixture of music and speech – clearly a successful formula.
But how can we interest Asian Network in our PR generated stories? That’s the question we’ll be posing. If you’d like to come to the event (which is free) email Arrive from 0800 for a 0830 start. The talk will be finished by 0930.
Hotwire Global are kindly hosting it at their offices in EC2. Arif will be talking about how he decides which stories go to air and how BBC Asian Network cater to its audience. Arif has a background as a political journalist and editor and has worked for the BBC for more than twenty years.

WHEN: Tuesday 21st May, 08:00 for prompt 08:30 start
WHERE:Hotwire Global, 69 Wilson St, Finsbury, London EC2A 2BB
